Cut It Out! x The International African Arts Festival

Yesterday morning we set up our booth at the International African Arts Festival in Brooklyn, in the Bakawaale section. There were strong downpours of rain throughout the first hours, but the dark gray sky didn't ruin our spirits! The sun fought its way through and we stayed and toughed it out until 9pm. It was amazing! All vendors, and visitors were in great spirits as we all shared in African arts, culture and entertainment. Our neighbors were wonderful (thank you Femi for lending the mirror and helping with the tent, we appreciate it).

We had a lot of fun chatting it up with all the ladies and gents that stopped by the Cut It Out! booth. We appreciate the love and the laughs....it was a real good time! A special thanks to the staff of IAA Festival for the opportunity to be a part of such an important and truly beautiful event. (Val, part of the IAAF staff is pictured in the above photo).

Next up...

We'll be out today (7/6) at the Flatbush Avenue festival from Parkside to Cortelyou Road. We'll be stationed between Church and Snyder Avenues so come by to check us out.

Are you a Cut It Out! Girl?!
xx
